Toy SOR-2011-17
SOR/2011-17 certification is a Canadian toy standard
Canada developed the Canada Consumer Products Safety Act (CCPSA) on December 15, 2010. Recently, its new Toys Regulations (SOR/2011-17) have replaced the original Dangerous Products (Toy Ordinance) Act (C.R.C., c. 931). This information is provided by Shenzhen CCTI Technology Co., LTD., and the existing toy bans, restrictions and regulations in Parts I and II of Appendix I of the Dangerous Products (Toy Regulations) Act will also be transferred to The Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act, the new Toys Regulations has been officially implemented since June 20, 2011.
Although the regulations have been transferred, the safety requirements for toys and other products for children to learn and play have not changed substantially. After the regulations were transferred, the version of the Toys Regulations became clearer and easier to understand. The specific contents of Parts 1 and 2 of Appendix 1 of the Dangerous Products (Toy Ordinance) Act are as follows:

It should be noted that the range of phthalates in the Dangerous Products (Toy Regulations) Act includes all toys and child care products. The phthalate restriction under the Toys Regulations refers to toys used by children under 3 years of age.
