What is CEC certification
The CEC certification is the Appliance Efficiency Regulation, which was enacted by the California Energy Commission on December 30, 2005. The purpose of this regulation is to save energy, improve the efficiency of electricity products, and reduce greenhouse effect and gas emissions.
The CEC's external power supply is defined as a single-phase voltage input AC/DC or an AC/AC external power adapter.
The 58 products sold in California require CEC product energy efficiency certification, mainly for home appliances, power supplies, lamps (ballasts or energy-saving lamps). The sales of 58 types of electrical and electronic products in California are subject to CEC energy efficiency certification. The regulations are specifically divided into energy efficiency indicator requirements, measurement methods, and plans for phased implementation.
